- 50 Salmi di Davide. Milano, Ricordi, and Udine, L. Berletti n.d. (late C19?) Fifteen psalms, in two well bound volumes (apart from one loose page in vol. one). The music is engraved and is for the most part bright and clean, with just a few pages showing browning. The first psalm is published by Ricordi, the rest are published by L. Berletti of Udine. Four of these are bound in with colour title pages stating: "Con accomp di Pianoforte di F. Mirecki, Rivista da Cherubini". Also bound in are Canon Triplex (3pp) amd Allegri, Miserere (6pp.). Plate numbers are: 56585-88-645, 3494, 3495, 3496, 3497, 3498, 3499, 3500. Vol. II 3501, 3502, 3503, 3520, 3521, 3522, 3522-1/2, 22570. Volume One is paginated from 37-55, 305-442, and 1-128. Volume Two is paginated from 129-232, 325-472, and 1-6. Marcello was born in Venice and held important government posts. He spent 8 years in Pola, where "his health was ruined by the climate". His great work, "Parafrasi sopra i primi 50 Psalmi" was published 1724-27, and "as a whole they constitute one of the finest productions of musical literature."
